Reviving the old Dell 312-0340 battery

What if the user reports the Dell 312-0340 battery won't hold a charge anymore? The obvious answer is to buy a new dell Laptop Battery, but that isn't always an easy task, especially for a rare, obscure, or outdated model.
According to our experience, no matter how long the laptop is connected to the laptop AC adapter and supposedly charging, the Dell 312-0340 battery status never changes from zero percent charge. Some asks, "Is this likely a laptop battery issue or a failure of the charging circuit?" I immediately thought "bad Dell 312-0340 Battery," because this is exactly what occurred when my laptop battery died.
You are correct, the Dell 312-0340 battery has failed. Specifically, the Dell laptop battery has a memory failure where it refuses to take a charge. You might be able to recover some functionality by connecting a 100-ohm resistor across the battery to completely discharge it and then using a bench charger or power supply to force current into the laptop battery. Search for laptop batteries on the Web; there are many sources for third-party batteries. There may even be a local firm that rebuilds the Dell 312-0340 battery packs. To avoid this, you should run the unit off the Dell laptop battery at least once a month and allow the battery to discharge."
This can be a little bit troublesame, buy it can svae you a lot money, it worth to do. Find more other laptop accessories information, go here: Dell GD775 Battery(Li-ion )
